I am pleased to announce that DKE obtained the highest rating of “Excellent” for Compass in 2011. This is the third time in the past four years that DKE has received this rating. Not only did our brothers excel in the area of Compass, but they did it the best, as DKE is currently ranked the highest at Lafayette College in this category compared to other fraternities. The undergraduate students have done a great job at coming up with new and innovative compass programs, as well as keeping with tradition of their past brothers. One example of the Rho spirit was the 3rd annual Jeremy Saxe Basketball Tournament. The brothers were able to contribute close to $3,000 for the JIWANKO SAATHIHARU: Jeremy Saxe Foundation for Education and Development.

Brothers from the classes of 08, 09, and 10 were also in attendance to help remember the memory of their fallen brother, and help contribute to the foundation’s efforts of building a school in Nepal in Jeremy’s memory.Great work Undergraduates, and Keep Up the Good Work. I am pleased to announce that DKE RHO has won the 2011 Aaron O. Hoff Award for Outstanding Living Group. The Hoff Awards are awarded in categories such as Athletic Group of the Year, Faculty Member of the Year, etc, and they’re considered among the most prestigious of awards given out at the end of each school year. The undergraduates this year have worked hard to promote an image on campus of excellence which we should be proud of. In a time where fraternities have been shown in negative light, it is encouraging to see that DKE RHO is still proudly represented by Gentlemen, Scholars, and Jolly Good Fellows.
