Unfortunately, Dan Weiss is no longer the only undefeated Lafayette v Lehigh President in history as the Leopards lost to the Mountain Hawks last weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped us get through the weekend without incident at the DKE house.
A reminder to all Brothers returning to campus for the game this weekend, we are currently on social probation and alcohol is not permitted in the house. Everyone is of course still welcome back to the house, where we will again be selling food to the tailgaters on March field to support local children’s charities in Easton. Keep the alcohol in the tailgating area and out of the house.
The Fall 2008 edition of the Rho News is now available online. This edition summarized some of our recent events, good standing with the school, plan to improve the House, and Homecoming schedule. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the House on September 27th for Homecoming!

Rho once again brought home some hardware from the DKE International Convention this year. We won 1st place in Chapter Improvement and 3rd place in Alumni Relations. Congratulations to the undergraduates for continuing our tradition of excellence. You can view our winning application here.
A reminder that Homecoming is early this year on September 27th. The Marquis Society Dinner is not until the following weekend. We have a full schedule of events planned.
For Homecoming, Michael De Lisi reserved 10 non-smoking rooms with double beds at the Quality Inn (formerly Best Western) at 3rd Street at a rate of $59.99 per night. If you would like one of the rooms, call the Quality Inn at 610.253.9131 and request one of the rooms reserved under the name Michael De Lisi.
If you have any questions, contact Mike at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll be gathering again in Queens on June 21st at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. Whoever gets there first, save some tables for the rest of us. Everyone and anyone is welcome.
We recently mailed out the spring Rho News. You can also view it online in PDF format here, along with past editions of the Rho News.
We have been using Lafayette’s contact information to mail out the Rho News. To update your contact information with the school, you can go to Lafayette’s alumni page and click “Update your Information” on the left navigation bar. If you want us to use a separate address than the one the school has file, please e-mail us at either email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, as a reminder that didn’t make it into the Rho News, Homecoming this year is early on September 27th and is a night game against UPenn with a 6PM kickoff. We changed the format for the annual brothers meeting last year to make some improvements based on alumni feedback. We hope to see everyone back at the DKE House again come September and if you have any suggestions, let us know!
I am pleased to announce that DKE obtained the highest rating of “Excellent” for 2007. Only one other fraternity received this rating this year. We are the first fraternities to achieve this feat since the college implemented COMPASS in 2003.
It took a lot of hard work to reach this goal. To see what COMPASS is all about visit this page. Congratulations to both the undergraduates and alumni who made this possible.
